@therapydoc: I agree. I’ve been thinking about the quote for quite a while (thus the post) and wondering if it’s achievable. Western society, for all of it’s promotion of autonomy, actually insists we conform and therefore compare ourselves constantly. Still, wouldn’t it be freeing to not care? Thanks for visiting!
