The End of the World

      August 17th, 2008

Rajendra Parmanik[1] has a very interesting post titled, 7 Reasons World will END in 2012. He cites predictions from the Mayan Calendar, the Bible, Physicists, etc… It’s an interesting short read. Kinda like the Enquirer without photos of Batboy. Anyway, if there is any truth to it, I’m pretty jazzed that I won’t have to pay my student loans! Woohoo! Party in Heaven! Ahem, sorry …

So, say you had confirmation that you only had four years to live. How/what would you do?

  1. Mr. Parmanik is a self-titled “Engineer fighting for The World.” I think that’s flipping awesome! []

I’d tell my wife she is physically & spiritually beautiful more often. I’d use my money to feed those who are hungry. I’d make sure my children KNEW Jesus! I’d take my family snowboarding more often.

does my mental capacity increase? i will assume that it does, so i’m finishing the ma program, and then pursuing a phd in either philosophy or theological studies. then traveling the globe to make a difference in the world for jesus christ!

Hate to admit it, but I’d be more passionate about sharing the message of Christ. I’d quit school and either; a) Go to a third world country and help people who are sick; or b) Go out on the street and help the homeless.

    Welcome ...
... to my little corner of the internet. My blog's greatest asset is it’s auto-magically random randomness. A record of a few of my life observations, spiritual ponderings, and goofy anecdotes, I hope you find something that tickles or inspires you.

I also hope you leave a comment because, heck yeah, they’re fun! For the record, I believe in God. While I am far from religious, I strive to be profoundly spiritual. And, uh, yeah … I fall down a lot!
