Study: Media Coverage Has Favored Obama Campaign [1]
John McCain supporters who believe they haven’t gotten a fair shake from the media during the Republican’s candidacy against Barack Obama have a new study to point to. Comments made by sources, voters, reporters and anchors that aired on ABC, CBS and NBC evening newscasts over the past two months reflected positively on Obama in 65 percent of cases, compared to 31 percent of cases with regards to McCain, according to the Center for Media and Public Affairs. Who may worship in your sanctuary, Lord? Who may enter your presence on your holy hill? Those who lead blameless lives and do what it right, speaking the truth from sincere hearts. Those who refuse to slander others or harm their neighbors or speak evil of their friends. Those who despise persistent sinners, and honor the faithful followers of the Lord and keep their promises even when it hurts. Those who do not charge interest on the money they lend, and who refuse to accept bribes to testify against the innocent. Such people stand firm.
I’ve been reading a lot of psalms lately. I find them comforting during times of thesis (heh). Today, however, I did a double take. Yeah it’s beautiful and of course doing “what is right” is a good aspiration BUT, verse one really hit me. “Who may worship in your sanctuary?” As much as I would like it, I’m not innocent. I’ve lied, I’ve slandered, I haven’t always honored or even recognized “the faithful”. In fact, I’m kind of a jerk. Who may enter God’s presence on His holy hill? Not me (insert sad face here).
Then I remember Jesus. I remember that He gave His life so that I CAN enter into God’s presence. And now I am simply in awe.

Rajendra Parmanik[1] has a very interesting post titled, 7 Reasons World will END in 2012. He cites predictions from the Mayan Calendar, the Bible, Physicists, etc… It’s an interesting short read. Kinda like the Enquirer without photos of Batboy. Anyway, if there is any truth to it, I’m pretty jazzed that I won’t have to pay my student loans! Woohoo! Party in Heaven! Ahem, sorry …
So, say you had confirmation that you only had four years to live. How/what would you do?
